This excellent single grain Scotch whisky, which has only been aged in American oak barrels, is great for unwinding after a busy day. Freshly cut barley fields with a malty edge are found on the nose. With pineapple juice and lemon zestiness, the palate is oily and sharp. A gentler note of fruit, mixed with a luscious sweetness, some nuttiness, and subtle spice can be detected on the finish.
