Alvi's Drift Merlot Signature Wine Bottle 750ml

The wine is a lovely blend of fruit, oak, and tannin. Full bodied for a merlot, yet soft and juicy with subtle tobacco characters on the nose and palate. There are notes of cherries and ripe plums with a hint of chocolate. The tannin structure is quite firm for a merlot and we expect the wine to age well because of this.

Description

Our vineyards are grown using a philosophy of minimal intervention and fertilized with natural compost produced on the farm. The best blocks of each varietal at Alvi’s Drift are meticulously managed to optimize quality. These Merlot grapes were selectively hand harvested to ensure only healthy, ripe bunches were used for production.
