This magnificent red blend is chock full of character with each of the integrated wine varietals playing a pivotal role in the finished product. The shiraz adds depth of flavour with spicey peppery notes; the cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot bring a classical structure to the blend; the malbec adds colour and ripe dark fruit; and the merlot lends its velvety fruitiness to the wine's profile. It's drinking wonderfully now and shows great potential for extended ageing.
