Operating Voltage Directions for use: Use only as directed. Do not pre-dissolve. Do not mix PoolBrite Clarity micro granular chlorine in its dry form with any other dry chlorine chemical especially calcium hypochlorite. Use the provided dry, clean cap to apply product. Do not use the cap for any other purpose. Cap holds approximately 150g. Ensure the pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 and scatter granules over pool water surface, with the pump running for at least 2 to 4 hours. Strong oxidising agent. Avoid contact with automatic pool cleaners, inflatables and bleachable pool surfaces. If your pool has a bleachable surface, such as fibreglass, vinyl, painted or coloured plaster, unplug pool cleaner hose and apply directly to the weir. Re-insert hose and allow the pump to run for a minimum of 2 to 4 hours after application. Initial start-up: If you are opening your pool for spring or the pool has not been maintained for several weeks, apply 3-4 caps of PoolBrite Clarity micro granular chlorine per 50 000 litres of pool water with the pump running. After 2 hours, test chlorine level. Repeat dosage until you obtain a chlorine level of 1-3 ppm. Routine chlorination: Throughout the season, ensure that the pH is 7.2 - 7.6 and add 1 cap PoolBrite Clarity micro granular chlorine per 50 000 litres of pool water with the pump running every second day or as often as needed to maintain a chlorine residual of 1 - 3 ppm. The amount of product required and the frequency of addition will vary depending on the number of swimmers, water temperature and amount of rain. Operate the pump for a minimum of 8 hours per day. For best results, pools should be shock treated regularly in summer. Shock treatment: In the case of algae, high bather loads, hazy/dull water, unpleasant odours or eye irritation, or after heavy rain, add 3-4 caps of PoolBrite Clarity micro granular chlorine per 50 000 litres of pool water with the pump running. Do not enter pool until chlorine residual is down to 3 ppm.
