Vote for SA’s best Little Garden school choir

The top 10 finalists in the Checkers Big Voices for Little Garden competition have been announced and it is now up to the public to vote for the entry they believe deserves to win the coveted title of South Africa’s best school choir.

School choirs had an opportunity to enter the competition by learning the Little Garden song, filming their performance (utilising any instruments of their choice) and sharing it on social media using #CheckersLittleGarden.

To vote for your favourite, simply visit https://www.checkerslittlegarden.co.za/competitions/big-vocals/ before midnight on Saturday, 3 June 2018. Only one vote per person is allowed.

The top 10 finalists, in no particular order, are:

1. Aloe Ridge Primary School (Vereeniging, Gauteng)
2. Amanzimtoti Primary School (Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal)
3. Berea Primary School (Durban, KwaZulu-Natal)
4. Deutsche Schule Durban (Westville, KwaZulu-Natal)
5. Eenheid Primary School (Modimolle, Limpopo)
6. Glenmore Primary School (Durban, KwaZulu-Natal)
7. Hillcrest Primary School (Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal)
8. Port Shepstone Junior Primary School (Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal)
9. Umhlali Preparatory School (Umhlali, KwaZulu-Natal)
10.Ya Bana Village (Winterveld, Gauteng)

The winning school will walk away with R30 000, while second and third place will receive R20 000 and R10 000 respectively.
