These delicious syrup waffles are infused with a delectably sweet syrup, so you don't have to add anything to them. Although - you can't really go wrong with just a simple dollop of butter after toasting them. And maybe a sprinkling of flake salt.
In theory, you don't have to add anything to syrup waffles because they are already all syruped up. Well, there's theory, and then there's reality. You can, of course, eat them as is, and they are yummy, but you can have so much more. Think strawberries and banana slices with vanilla yoghurt. Or add plain vanilla ice cream. Or go all North American and smother them with maple syrup and eat them with bacon.
