One of the most reasonably priced Speyside malts available. Rich and sweet with delightful Christmas cake flavours, this double-matured version is a blend of standard oak and sherry casks.
Buttery cinnamon toast with a background of intense raisin, astringent woody notes, glacé cherry, and barrel char. On the tongue, maple syrup, brown sugar, plump raisins, nutmeg, milk chocolate, and more of the char from the nose combine with maple syrup, brown sugar, plump raisins, nutmeg, milk chocolate, and more of the char from the nose. With chocolate, raisins, and additional char, it comes to a medium-length conclusion.
