KWV was one of the first winery's to release single bottlings of rare grapes such as Grenache Blanc and Petit Verdot. The Classic Collection category, which concentrates on single-cultivar wines, has these available in commercially inexpensive options.
The nose of the KWV Classic Collection Sauvignon Blanc is tropical, with passion fruit, lime, and guava. Soft, meaty, and juicy on the palate, with flavours of asparagus and a chalky mineral finish. This wine pairs well with shellfish, such as sushi, white meat dishes, and a range of cheeses. It's best to serve chilled.
