Usage Instructions
Before first use, remove any protective film or stickers from the soleplate and ensure the water tank is empty.
Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' indicator line, ensuring the iron is unplugged during this process. Distilled or demineralised water is recommended in areas with hard water to prevent limescale buildup.
Plug the iron into a suitable earthed mains socket (220-240V AC).
Set the desired temperature by rotating the temperature control dial to the appropriate fabric setting (e.g., silk, wool, cotton, linen). Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light extinguishes, signifying the set temperature has been reached.
For steam ironing, ensure the steam control dial is set to the desired steam output level (from minimum to maximum steam). The iron must be at a sufficiently high temperature for steam generation; typically, this is above the two-dot (••) setting on the temperature dial.
To use the spray function, press the spray button, directing a fine mist onto stubborn creases. Ensure the water tank contains sufficient water.
To use the shot of steam/vertical steam function, press the shot of steam button firmly. This function can be used for tough creases or for steaming hanging garments. A pause of a few seconds between shots is recommended to allow the iron to reheat.
When finished ironing, unplug the iron from the mains socket.
Allow the iron to cool down completely before emptying any remaining water from the water tank.
Store the iron in an upright position on its heel, ensuring the power cord is neatly wrapped and secured.
