Usage Instructions
Place the microwave oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation by leaving at least 10 cm of space around the back and sides and 30 cm above the appliance.
Plug the power cord into a properly earthed electrical socket. The appliance will emit a beep and the display will show "00:00" or the current time, depending on the model.
To set the clock, press the "Clock" button. Use the number pad or the dial to enter the current time. Press "Clock" again to confirm. The colon will flash, indicating the time is set.
For standard microwave cooking, place the food in a microwave-safe dish on the glass turntable. Close the door firmly. Use the "Microwave" button to select the power level, then use the dial or number pad to set the cooking time. Press the "Start" button to begin cooking.
For grilling, place the food on the wire rack provided, which should be on top of the glass turntable. Select the "Grill" function. Set the grilling time using the dial or number pad. Press "Start" to begin. The grill element will heat up and may glow red.
For a combination of microwave and grill cooking, select the "Combi" function. Choose the desired combination mode (e.g., C-1 for 55% microwave, 45% grill). Set the cooking time. Press "Start" to begin. This mode is suitable for browning and crisping food while cooking.
To use the auto cook menu, press the "Auto Menu" or "Chef" button. The display will show a numbered list of pre-set programmes (e.g., A-1 for potatoes, A-2 for pizza). Use the dial or number pad to select the desired programme. The microwave will automatically set the power level and cooking time based on the food type. Press "Start" to begin.
To defrost food, press the "Defrost" button. There are two options: defrost by weight or by time. For defrost by weight, enter the weight of the frozen food. The appliance will automatically calculate the defrosting time. For defrost by time, manually enter the desired defrosting duration. Press "Start" to begin. The microwave will pause partway through the cycle to allow for turning or stirring the food.
To stop or pause cooking, press the "Stop/Cancel" button once. The cooking process will pause. To resume, press the "Start" button. To cancel the programme completely, press the "Stop/Cancel" button twice.
For quick start cooking, simply press the "Start" button once to begin a 30-second cooking cycle at full power. Each subsequent press of the "Start" button adds another 30 seconds to the cooking time.
The child lock function prevents the appliance from being used by children. To activate, press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for approximately three seconds. A lock icon will appear on the display. To deactivate, press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button again for three seconds.
After cooking is complete, the microwave will beep several times to alert the user. The display will show the remaining time or "End". Open the door and carefully remove the food using oven gloves, as the dish and contents may be hot.
Regularly clean the interior of the microwave oven with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Remove and wash the glass turntable and roller ring in warm, soapy water. Ensure the interior is completely dry before using the appliance again.
