It Up
  • Description:

    Stir it up with this tasty recipe. If you have some guests, you’ll surely win them over with this Eastern-inspired summer dish.

  • Ingredients:

    For this stir-fry you’ll need:
    1 pkt. oriental stir-fry
    2 tbsp (30 ml) oil
    2 tbsp (30 ml) dark soy sauce

    1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
    1 garlic clove; crushed
    1 red chilli; finely sliced

    Juice of 2 limes or ½ lemon
    3 tbsp (45 ml) cashews; toasted and chopped

  • Method:

    1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok. Add stir-fry mix and fry at a high heat for 3–5 minutes or until just cooked.
    2. Pour dark soy sauce, honey, garlic, chilli and juice of limes or lemon into a bowl and mix well.
    3. Stir sauce through the stir-fry and fry until just cooked through.
    4. Serve scattered with toasted cashew nuts, chopped coriander and an extra wedge of lime on the side.

    Serves 4.
