Description

Getting a healthy early morning kickstart will be the most delicious thing you do when you start your day with this flavourful, vitamin-rich Pineapple Smoothie Bowl.

Directions

1. Add almond milk, banana, pineapple and honey into a blender.

2. Blend until the mixture is thick and creamy. Add a little extra almond or oat milk if it’s too thick.

3. Spoon into two bowls and let it set in the freezer while you prepare toppings.

4. To serve, scatter each of the bowls with muesli, berries, granadilla halves and coconut flakes.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) Simple Truth Almond or Oat Milk
  • 2 ripe bananas; peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups (500 ml) pineapple chunks; frozen
  • 3 tbsp. (45 ml) Simple Truth Honey or maple syrup to taste

 

Toppings:

  • ½ cup (125 ml) Simple Truth Fruit and Nut or Simple Truth Mixed Berry Muesli
  • ½ cup (125 ml) raspberries and blueberries
  • 2 granadillas; halved
  • 3 tbsp. (45 ml) coconut flakes
