The colour of this Three Ships Whisky is a lovely rose gold. This Whisky's nose is a harmonious interplay of cherries, roasted nuts, Christmas fruit cake, smoke reminiscent of barbequed meat, and subtle orange. A juicy red plush fruit, cloves, white pepper, liquorice, treacle, raisins, and warm peat surprise the palate. It has a remarkably complex finish, a warm and lingering mouthfeel, subtle peat, and a savoury, smooth finish.
