Medirite Transparent Film Dressings 3 Pack

The dressing has an adhesive rim to hold onto the skin, with a transparent, non-adherent pad that allows you to monitor the wound. Since it is waterproof, it can be worn in the shower or when swimming. Three transparent film dressings are included in the pack.

Usage Instructions	Single use only. Do not use if the individual wrapper is damaged. How to apply: Peel the backing paper from the dressing to expose the adhesive surface. Apply the dressing to clean, dry skin, use gloves if necessary. View the wound through the film and centre the dressing over it. Do not stretch the dressing during application. Ensure the dressing is at least 2-3 cm larger than the wound. Smooth the dressing in place from the centre outward. Press down on all 4 sides to ensure good adhesion. Now to remove: Lift a corner of the dressing and stretch it horizontally along the skin surface to break the adhesive bond. Continue stretching from the edge of the dressing toward the centre. When two sides of the dressing are partially removed, grasp both sides and stretch them horizontally and parallel to the skin until the entire dressing lifts. Frequency of dressing changes: The average time between transparent film dressings is 3 to 5 days, although the dressing may be left in place up to 7 days Patients may shower with the dressing in place. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.
