The dressing provides a moist wound-healing environment and allows you to shower with the dressing in place. It protects newly forming tissue to aid wound healing and prevent contamination by dirt or bacteria.

Usage Instructions	Single use only. Do not use if the individual wrapper is damaged. Open the pouch and remove the clear backing from the dressing first (from the sticky side of the dressing) Apply the dressing to clean, dry skin with the pad covering the wound. Press edges down firmly and make sure that you seal on all 4 sides. Peel off the second backing paper on the top of the dressing. How to remove: Lift a corner of the dressing and stretch it horizontally along the skin surface to break the adhesive bond. Continue stretching from the edge of the dressing toward the centre. When two sides of the dressing are partially removed, grasp both sides and stretch them horizontally and parallel to the skin until the entire dressing lifts. Frequency of dressing changes: The average time between transparent island dressings is 3 to 5 days, although the dressing may be left in place up to days. Patients may shower with the dressing in place. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.
