Rest the canvas on an easel or a flat work surface with minimal pressure applied to the canvas’s flexible, unsupported position to prevent it from being damaged.

To repair surface dents, lightly spray the back of your canvas with water and dishwashing liquid or a window cleaner and allow to dry.

This procedure should restore the tautness. If not, insert small wooden wedges into the wooden joints to change or improve the tautness of the canvas’s display surface.
