Benefits & Features Use to kill stumps and prevent regrowth of unwanted trees and shrubs. Systemic tree and stump herbicide. Effective against a wide range of invasive trees and shrubs. Economical one application.
Usage Instructions Use only as directed Rate of application A. Foliar Application Use only on actively growing plants with full leaf cover. Apply as a full cover spray to leaves and stems. Do not apply to wet foliage. Use a suitable garden sprayer that will ensure an even coverage. B. Cut stump Apply according to directions for cut stumps in the table below. Plant Dosage / 10 l Water remarks Eucalyptus grandis 200 ml Garlon® 4 in 10 l diesel 75 ml Garlon® 4 Cut stump (Clear felling) Apply herbicide mixture on the day of felling (within 12 hours) to the cambial region (sapwood) of the cut surfaces until the point of run off with a brush or sprayer. Coppiced Stumps (NB When coppice is between 500 mm and 1,0 m in height). Apply to leaves and stems ensuring a thorough wetting. Rubus cuneifolius (American Bramble) Chromolaena odorata (Triffid Weed) 50 ml Garlon® 4On plants up to 1,5 metre in height spray leaves and stems thoroughly. Plants higher than 1,5 m should be slashed and the regrowth sprayed when ± 500 mm. Solanum mauritia-num (Bugweed) 50 ml Garlon® 4 200 ml Garlon® 4 in 10 l diesel applied to the stem with a paint brush. Foliar On young actively growing plants up to 1,0 m in height spray leaves and stems thoroughly. Plants higher than 1,0 m should be slashed and regrowth sprayed when ± 500 mm high. Basal stem.
