Usage Instructions	Directions for use: Important - ensure that your pool is filled to above the normal water level and during the cleaning process do not allow the water to drop below the weir level; 1 Unplug automatic pool cleaner and remove vacuum plate Backwash filter thoroughly; 2 Switch pump off and open pump lid; 3 Slowly pour 1 litre of PoolBrite filter cleaner into the pump basket Close pump lid; 4 With valve in backwash position, switch pump on and allow to run until foamy substance appears in the "sight glass" (this should take approximately 5-10 seconds) Switch pump off at mains PoolBrite filter cleaner is now deposited in the filter and will start the cleaning process Place valve on closed and deactivate time clock; 5 After approximately 12-24 hours with the valve on backwash, switch pump on and allow operation to continue until water inside glass is clear or for a minimum of 4 minutes Switch pump off; 6 Place valve on rinse position Switch pump on and rinse for 2 minutes - the cleaning/washing process is now complete; 7 Replace weir basket, vacuum plate, automatic cleaner etc; 8 Change back to filter setting Switch pump on and continue with normal filtration; 9 In cases where filter sand has not been treated or replaced in a 4-5 year period, a second treatment may be required; Dosage: One litre of PoolBrite filter cleaner is sufficient for the treatment of normal size residential swimming pool filters
