Mushroom Noodle Bowl with Chilli Sesame Dressing by Zola Nene

Description

Take your noodles and give them the chef treatment to make an irresistible bowl of spicy flavour for two.

Directions

1. Boil the eggs. 

2. Sauté the mushrooms in a pan over medium heat.

3. Whisk together the dressing ingredients.

4.  Soak noodles in hot water for 5 minutes then drain. 

5. Arrange noodles in serving bowls, drizzle over the dressing then serve (toss in dressing just before serving).

6. Can be served hot or cold, whatever you’re feeling for at the time

Ingredients

For the Chilli, Soy Sesame Dressing:


•    1 tbsp. Forage and Feast Tomato Chilli Jam

•    4 tbsp. soy sauce

•    1 tbsp. sesame oil

•    1 tbsp. ginger; grated

•    1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds


For the Noodles:


•    1 packet Simple Truth Mushroom Noodles

•    1 cup Deli Rotisserie Chicken; shredded 

•    1 carrot; peeled and julienned 

•    ¼ cucumber; julienned 

•    Handful bean sprouts

•    ½ punnet button mushrooms; sautéed

•    2 boiled eggs; peeled and halved "
