Description
In the mood for steak, but have no ideas? Just use Chef Zola’s simple but appetising Seared Steak recipe.
Directions
1. Season the steak with salt and pepper then rub with olive oil.
2. Heat a pan, then sear the steak on both sides until golden (about 5 minutes per side). Add the butter, rosemary and garlic, then baste the steak with the butter as it melts.
3. Continuously baste the steak as it cooks over medium heat for 5 minutes, turning it occasionally.
4. Remove from the pan, place onto a plate, cover and leave to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Ingredients
- 500 g Steakhouse Classic Rib-Eye or T-Bone Steak
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp. Forage and Feast Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 garlic clove; smashed
