Description

Deluxe dessert has a new name: The Ultimate Foreign Ground Tiramisu! Coffee-soaked finger biscuits are layered between vanilla-flavoured mascarpone and chocolate sauce, then topped with cream and coffee beans. The secret ingredient is Foreign Ground Single Origin Guatemala Grounds, our strongest roast with a roasted almond and honey flavour. Available exclusively at Checkers.

Directions

1. Make your fresh coffee with the Guatemalan grounds and set aside to cool.

2. Make the cream layer by beating the mascarpone, condensed milk and vanilla essence with an electric beater until it’s thick and smooth.

3. Break up the finger biscuits and soak in the coffee for a few seconds.

4. To assemble, put the soaked biscuits in the bottom of the glass. Spoon the cream mixture over the biscuits (a piping bag works very well here too). Drizzle with chocolate sauce and more cream mixture.

5. Put them into the fridge to cool.

6. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.

7. Take the tiramisu out of the fridge and pipe the cream over the top and decorate with a coffee bean or two. Enjoy!
